I am a proud Nigerian from the southeastern (Enugu State) region of the country, and I grew up in an environment where education and skill acquisition were undervalued. Many parents and older family members were also unemployed. Public schools lacked infrastructure, creating a cycle of hopelessness.
Nigeria, like much of Africa, is a country where the youth are brimming with innovative ideas. Our young people are eager to grow and create change. However, they often lack the leadership, mentorship, and guidance to turn their aspirations into reality. This lack of discipline and direction causes dreams to wither and potential leaders to remain stagnant.
Africa is a land blessed with immense natural and human resources. We have brilliant minds, remarkable creativity, and a deep desire for progress and development. However, these lofty aspirations are too often stifled by environmental limitations—poverty, poor governance, lack of access to quality education, and a critical shortage of skill acquisition programs.
I founded Bnuel Foundation in 2020 with one goal in mind: to provide the leadership and mentorship that I once longed for in my community. It is a call to arms—a mission to build hope where there is despair, and to replace the cycle of poverty with a cycle of opportunity. Mental ignorance and academic negligence has been the driving force behind Bnuel Foundation.
I graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and pursued an MSc in Peace and Conflict at Enugu State University of Science and Technology before an MBA in Global Business at Liverpool Business School, United Kingdom.
My academic journey fueled my desire to create meaningful change in the lives of Nigerian and African youths. I saw firsthand how education and opportunity could transform lives. This is why Bnuel Foundation seeks to provide access to education for the less privileged and every young African. We want to develop the business-oriented, inspire the academically inclined, and advocate for the jobless. Through careful thought, we have outlined programs that increases opportunity and contributes positively to our economy in line with SDG goals.
Bnuel Foundation focuses on teenagers because we believe it is more profitable to build children than to fix broken men. The teenage years are crucial in shaping individual values and aspirations. We aim to empower African teenagers to think big, dream big, and take practical steps towards realizing their potential. Whether through skill acquisitions, skill enhancement programs, or career guidance, our work is dedicated to building the future leaders of Africa.
We are committed to raising a generation of job creators, not job seekers, to fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation across Africa. Africa's youth should be a global movement, one that seeks to transform our communities and ultimately, the world. Together, we can build a future where every youth has the opportunity to develop their talent, and every dream has the potential to become a reality. Thank you for supporting Bnuel Foundation as we continue to raise hope, nurture ideas, and transform Africa, one child at a time.
Sincerely,
Chukwuebuka Emmanuel
